SANKARASRAMAM
Every information collected may not stand good for a long period. So it
is our duty to convert the information into knowledge, because
information are shorter lived than knowledge. But knowledge will also
change continuously. What was true one decade ago need not be true
today. So one should store the knowledge as wisdom and try to become
wiser and wiser using the knowledge acquired . But there is also
possibility of a wise man becoming less wise or nearer to an idiot.
Then, the only option is convert the wisdom into experience. Once we
got the experience , it will stand for longer period than information,
knowledge and wisdom. This is because we got practically exposed to the
reality which is the applied knowledge and wisdom. Then refresh the
practical experience every time whenever it is possible. That is the
reason why our forefathers studied everthing by repeating the slokas
and stanzas for re-imposing their experience in the filed. In
Ayurveda, jyothisha and so on, one can see that the text books are
completely bye hearted and chanted (without the help of text books).
The Vedic texts, dharmasaastra, Ramayana and even Mahabharatha used to
be chanted without the help of text. This helps a lot for energizing
memory cells and keeping the brain cells lively for a long period,
even upto death. They can collect any incidents, names, events, slokas,
and stories from anywhere if they have come across that earlier, due to
the capacity of the brain cells ( even at very old age). Some of our
Rushies had also studied and rewritten novel versions of what they have
studied through addition, deletion, and modification of many messages.
Thus we have got thousands of literature, in thousands of subjects,
written by thousands of Rushies for the last many thousands of years.
So convert the information into knowledge, convert the knowledge in
wisdom, convert the wisdom into experience and the totality of the
experience is our life. Make that life useful, fruitful, purposeful and
peaceful
